Pastor Erik graduated from Baptist Bible College in Clarks Summit Pennsylvania with a Bachelors degree in Bible in 1998. He and his wife April have been married since 1999 and they have two wonderful children. After college, he taught junior and senior high Bible classes for two years at Lakewood Park Christian School in Auburn, Indiana.
Pastor Erik’s first pastoral position was at Tri-County Bible Church in Rensselaer, Indiana where he served for five years as a youth pastor. He also served as an interim senior pastor for a year and a half while the church was in a transition between leadership.
In order to better prepare himself for the role of senior pastor, Pastor Erik enrolled in Baptist Bible Seminary to pursue a Master of Divinity degree. The last year of his master’s degree program included a year long internship at Bridgewater Baptist Church in Montrose, Pennsylvania. Pastor Erik graduated from Baptist Bible Seminary and was ordained to the Gospel ministry in May 2009. He accepted the call to serve as the senior pastor of Daniel’s Road Baptist Church on August 16, 2009. |
